She has also been on faculty at the Asia Pacific Saxophone Academy, Texas Low Brass Academy, International Violin Festival and Competition in Singapore and Key to Change Solo String Festival in Seattle. Dr. Chang attended prestigious summer festivals including Interlochen Center for the Arts, SongFest, Brevard Music Festival, Aspen Music Festival and School, Banff Centre and the Castleman Quartet Program. Dr. Chang has performed with violinist Charles Castleman, baritone David Small, tubaist Charles Villarrubia, saxophonist Toshikazu Nagase and recorded with double bass player DaXun Zhang. As a soloist, Dr. Chang won 2nd prize in the Colorado International Piano Competition at Northern Colorado University. She has also performed with the Jiangsu Orchestra of China. Dr. Xin Chang maintains a private piano studio in Seattle and enjoys teaching piano to all levels
of students. She is a certified RCM piano teacher, many of her students had passed RCM/ABRSM exams and won International Piano Competitions. Dr. Chang completed her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She also received a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music, as well as a
Bachelor of Music degree from Renmin University of China. Her principal teachers were Colette Valentine, Anne Epperson, Jean Barr and Fang Zhang.
Rose V. Johnson is an avid chamber musician, lending her skills to several professional ensembles including Compass Winds, Peregrine Rose Trio, and The Ladies' Quintessential Quintet.

In addition to maintaining a full performance schedule regionally and nationally, her teaching studio garners respect throughout the Pacific Northwest. Her expertise is also in demand as a clinician in higher education, youth ensembles, and school outreach programs.
As a musician-advocate, Ms. Johnson is passionate about projects that support music education and underrepresented musicians. She seeks out ways to engage composers and collaborators from marginalized groups, with the hope of using her platform to provide opportunity for others.
Ms. Johnson began formal flute training at the age of 14, with Erich Graf of the Utah Symphony. She continued her studies under the mentorship of Philip Swanson, receiving her Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Northern Arizona University. She received a Master of Music in Flute Performance from University of Washington with Felix Skowronek. Ms. Johnson is a Performance Artist for William S. Haynes Flute Company.

Megan is a recent graduate of the University of Washington, where she completed her Master of Music degree in Flute Performance, studying with Donna Shin. During her time there, she was the teaching assistant for the University of Washington’s Modern Music Ensemble, select music education classes, and flute performance classes. She performed as principal flutist in the University of Washington’s Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble. She also won their 2022 concerto competition and performed Carl Nielsen’s Flute Concerto with the UW Symphony Orchestra. Megan received her Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance at the University of North Texas where she studied with Terri Sundberg and James Scott. In her free time, Megan enjoys baking and spending time with her cats.

With students winning national competitions and every year earning positions in All-State and regional honor bands, Philip Dungey bases his teaching on solid music foundations and then seeks out opportunities for his students. His bands have won the award for Best Overall Middle School and Junior High Band at the Silverwood Music in the Parks Festival, performed in Disneyland six times, and won the Salmon Days Marching Band competition. In 2014, ensembles he coached placed second in two categories at the WIAA WMEA State Solo & Ensemble Competition, and his private students won the state solo competition in their category in 2014 and 2015.
Mr. Dungey has a Master's Degree from The University of Akron (OH) in Trumpet Performance and Music Education and a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance from Wheaton College (IL). He has performed professionally in the trumpet section of the Auburn Symphony and the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra, and serves as the Principal Trumpet of the Northwest Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. Dungey enjoys living in Issaquah with his musical family. Son Clayton is a tuba and computer science major at Biola in Los Angeles, daughter Natalie plays trumpet and studies at UCLA, and youngest, Faith, plays French Horn in Evergreen Philharmonic

For the past nine years she studied with master teacher Rajan Krishnaswami and is an apprentice teacher, occasionally covering the studio. She observes his teaching for several hours week to improve her own. She trained at the Japan-Seattle Suzuki Institute for Books 1, 2, 3 and 6. Erika began Suzuki cello lessons at 5, at 12 she began studying with renowned teacher Richard Aaron, currently faculty of Juilliard. With pre-professional training in high school, she went to Indiana University String Academy for three summers where she discovered fine chamber music performance under Rostislav Dubinsky. She was in Seattle Youth and Junior Symphonies. After high school Erika took private lessons and chamber music at Oberlin Conservatory while attending the college. She currently gives regular solo recitals of the the major cello repertoire
