Rose received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Instrumental Music Performance, with an emphasis in flute, from Northern Arizona University and her Master of Music degree from the University of Washington. Her mentors include Erich Graf, Philip Swanson and Felix Skowronek. Rose is a member of the Ladies’ Quintessential Quintet, Compass Winds, Peregrine Rose Trio, has formerly been Principal Flute of the Ensign Symphony & Chorus and Northwest Symphony Orchestra, and has been a member of the National Flute Association's Professional Flute Choir in 2008, and 2010-2019. Rose maintains a private studio, works with youth chamber ensembles and has coached with the Seattle Youth Symphony's Summer Music program, Music Northwest Youth Chamber Summer program, the Evergreen Philharmonic and the Eastside Youth Concert Band. Rose is a founder of Collaborative Musicians’ Project and has served on the boards of the National Flute Association’s Performance Health Committee, the Seattle Flute Society, Silver Flight Ensembles and Foundation, and the Federal Way Arts Commission. Rose resides with her engineer husband in Issaquah, WA and is the proud mother of a violinist daughter and a multi-talented son.

Residing in Seattle since 2012, Lori Shepherd is a freelance musician and private music instructor specializing in woodwinds. She holds a Master’s degree in Clarinet performance from the University of Utah and has performed around the world in various ensembles on a dizzying assortment of instruments, from saxophone in Shanghai as a performer at the World Expo 2010 to bass clarinet in a Harlem as part of the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival. She performs regularly in the Seattle area as a member of Seattle Women’s Jazz Orchestra, Compass Winds Quintet, Salsa Rosa, Mood Swings Jazz Ensemble, the Seattle Ensign Symphony and Chorus, Smith-Staelens Big Band, and the Northwest Clarinet Choir. Putting her versatility as a woodwind doubler to good use, Lori has performed in over 50 musicals (which often calls for playing up to five different instruments per show), including productions at Seattle Musical Theater, the Village Kidstage, and Showtunes Theatre Company at Benaroya Hall. In addition to teaching private lessons since 2000, she also taught junior high band and orchestra as a public-school teacher before moving to Seattle.

Mr. Esterling was recently the winner of the UW Symphony Concerto Competition and the Sewanee Music Festival Concerto Competition. He has also performed as a soloist with the Eastside Symphony Orchestra, Whidbey Island Consort Players, and Carillon Chamber Orchestra, performing works by Marcello and Mozart. As an active freelancer, Mr. Esterling has performed on multiple occasions with Evanescence and Lindsay Stirling, played on the soundtrack for the video game Destiny 2, and recorded music for a Dreamworks short.

Anne Marlantes, MA LMHC, spent 30 years in corporate marketing before changing careers to become a mental health counselor. Her marketing career included a wide range of companies such as Apple Computer, Chateau Ste Michelle and Sierra On-Line. She held senior marketing management positions at Sierra as well as at Speakeasy (a local DSL company) and B Square (another local high tech company). After receiving her MA in 2007, Anne left high tech and opened a private counseling practice where she focused on helping people with eating disorders. Now retired, Anne spends her time as a passionate amateur flutist and “first reader” of her writer husband’s manuscripts. She and her husband divide their time between Woodinville and Cannon Beach, Oregon.

Erika Fiebig is a Seattle native. She coaches the Bellevue Youth Symphony Premiere and Sinfonia cellos and local schools. Erika plays with Pacifica Chamber Orchestra and musicals throughout the region. For the past nine years she studied with master teacher Rajan Krishnaswami and is an apprentice teacher, occasionally covering the studio.

For the past nine years she studied with master teacher Rajan Krishnaswami and is an apprentice teacher, occasionally covering the studio. She observes his teaching for several hours week to improve her own. She trained at the Japan-Seattle Suzuki Institute for Books 1, 2, 3 and 6. Erika began Suzuki cello lessons at 5, at 12 she began studying with renowned teacher Richard Aaron, currently faculty of Juilliard. With pre-professional training in high school, she went to Indiana University String Academy for three summers where she discovered fine chamber music performance under Rostislav Dubinsky. She was in Seattle Youth and Junior Symphonies. After high school Erika took private lessons and chamber music at Oberlin Conservatory while attending the college. She currently gives regular solo recitals of the the major cello repertoire.

With students winning national competitions and every year earning positions in All-State and regional honor bands, Philip Dungey bases his teaching on solid music foundations and then seeks out opportunities for his students. His bands have won the award for Best Overall Middle School and Junior High Band at the Silverwood Music in the Parks Festival, performed in Disneyland six times, and won the Salmon Days Marching Band competition. In 2014, ensembles he coached placed second in two categories at the WIAA WMEA State Solo & Ensemble Competition, and his private students won the state solo competition in their category in 2014 and 2015.
Mr. Dungey has a Master's Degree from The University of Akron (OH) in Trumpet Performance and Music Education and a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance from Wheaton College (IL). He has performed professionally in the trumpet section of the Auburn Symphony and the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra, and serves as the Principal Trumpet of the Northwest Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. Dungey enjoys living in Issaquah with his musical family. Son Clayton is a tuba and computer science major at Biola in Los Angeles, daughter Natalie plays trumpet and studies at UCLA, and youngest, Faith, plays French Horn in Evergreen Philharmonic
