Yuly Kopkin is a Seattle transplant from Ekaterinburg, Russia. Conservatory-educated in his birth land, he holds a degree of Master of Music from the University of Washington on a Fulbright scholarship. Yuly established himself and gained recognition as choral conductor before his creative focus shifted towards collaborative piano. Vita in Canto, an internationally acclaimed university choir he founded in 2003 in his birth city, was a prize-winner at a number of national and international choral festivals and also enjoyed the most enthusiastic reception during their two concert tours of the USA. After settling permanently in Seattle, he founded Meridian Ensemble, an auditioned chamber choir dedicated to performing the finest choral repertoire ranging from the late 19th century to modern day. During recent years, Yuly's lifelong interest in collaborative piano performance has taken over his artistic schedule. He is a staff accompanist at Shoreline Community College; his past and ongoing piano accompanying engagements include Seattle Opera, Lyric Opera Northwest and the University of Washington School of Music as well as such established Puget Sound area choral organizations as Seattle Pro Musica, Seattle Choral Company, Choral Arts Northwest, and Ancora Choir. He also maintains an active schedule as freelance collaborative pianist for voice and instrumental recitals as well as productions of musicals and operas. Yuly serves as music director at downtown Seattle's Christ Our Hope Catholic Church and staff chorister at the Epiphany Parish of Seattle.

Peter Nelson-King grew up on the Eastside and showed a talent for music at an early age. Starting out on piano from grade school, he began on trumpet at 13 and quickly distinguished himself on the instrument, accruing many honors in Junior High and High School. He attended University of Puget Sound and graduated with a Bachelors in Music Performance, having won the school's concerto competition and its highest music scholarship, and went on to earn a Masters in Trumpet Performance from Boston University.
